ASP.NET Development Server: Run application on Root

The ASP.NET Development Server inside Visual Studio 2005 runs the web application in a sub-folder by default instead of on the root. This is an annoyance for some. Can’t it be configured to run the web app in the root? Yes, it can and theres an explanation of how to configure it on Scott Guthrie’s blog.
