Chris Pietschmann Awarded 2025 Microsoft MVP in Microsoft Azure and Developer Technologies Categories
Jul 10, 2025 • Chris Pietschmann • Awards • CommunityI am thrilled to share that I have been awarded the Microsoft MVP award for the 14th time! I’m honored to be recognized again by Microsoft for my community contributions. The MVP community is full of incredible experts and builders, and I’m humbled to be part of this group.
This year I’m recognized across multiple award categories:
- Microsoft Azure - Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Developer Technologies - Web Development

Over the last year, I’ve continued to broaden my community work across both cloud and developer tooling. Much of my focus has been around Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Web Development, including technologies like HashiCorp Terraform, Azure Bicep, Microsoft Azure services, C#, JavaScript, and related tools and practices.
As always, I’d be doing this work regardless of the award—but it’s truly energizing to see the impact make a difference for others.

I’ve also continued investing in AI-related development—both Azure AI services and practical AI dev with C#, JavaScript, and Python. It’s an exciting time to build, experiment, and ship real solutions.
Here are some of the core places I share and contribute online:
